The month of February is dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease and increasing knowledge about prevention. Educate yourself on the dangers of heart disease and get on track to better heart health. African Attire Sunday
Sunday, Feb. 23rd

Church family and visitors, join us on Fourth Sunday, Feb. 23rd as we honor our ancestors’ faith, resilience, and sacrifices by wearing African attire alongside our Children, Youth, and Young Adults. This is a time of remembrance and celebration, reflecting on the legacy of those who paved the way for our worship, education, and opportunities today.

Let’s come together in unity, dressed in vibrant colors and patterns that represent our heritage. We look forward to worshiping with you in African-inspired attire! The attire is not required to attend worship.

POSTPONED: BLACK HISTORY TASTE FEST

Celebrating African American Excellence 365 Days a Year!

At Greater New Guide Baptist Church, we honor and uplift the rich history, culture, and achievements of African Americans every day. While we traditionally celebrate in February, this year, we are excited to host a special Juneteenth Celebration in June instead of on Saturday, February 22nd.

This will be a powerful time of reflection, joy, and community as we commemorate freedom, resilience, and the incredible contributions of African Americans throughout history. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details on this inspiring event!

We ask for your continued prayers for John Dandridge, who underwent surgery on February 5, 2025. By God’s grace, he is home resting and recovering well. The family appreciates your love, support, and prayers during this time and asks that we lift him up as he continues to heal. May God grant him strength, comfort, and a full recovery.

CURRENT CHURCH SERVICES 

All SUNDAY SCHOOL classes are now meeting at the Family Life Center 3328 Adams Ave at 9:00 A.M. - 9:40 A.M. For those with physical challenges (temporary or long-term), a Sunday school class is available at the main church campus (3445 Fairfields) in the multipurpose room.  Please demonstrate love by not attending this class if you are not physically challenged. 

  • MID-WEEK BIBLE CLASSES meet at the Family Life Center.
  • WORSHIP continues at the main campus (3445 Fairfields) every Sunday at 10:00 A.M
  • PARKING is available at both campuses.
  • Sunday morning BUS SERVICE is available to transport individuals between the two campuses.

Please print and fully complete your tithes/offering envelope with the requested information. Also, indicate if your giving is for an individual, couple or family in the boxes provided. Use your official legal name consistently.

Parents & guardians are not required to list their children's names up to age 25 on the envelope. Instead, select the “family” option on your envelope. Individuals age 26 and above must complete a separate envelope with their names and addresses.

The senior’s ministry plans to relaunch and expand senior-related activities within the church and the community. Volunteers are needed to support ministry leaders in various capacities. If you have a heart for our precious, seasoned saints, please sign up today.

FAMILY LIFE CENTER INFORMATION SUNDAY SCHOOL PARKING INFORMATION

Parking is available at the Family Life Center for each service. The parking lot is full to capacity around 9:30 a.m. There is handicap parking in the front and on the west side of the Family Life Center. Additional parking is available across the street at our main church campus (corner of Fairfields and North Acadian Thruway).

Church buses will transport you to and from the church’s parking lot. If you choose to walk across the street, please be extremely safe. Note: You may enter the Family Life Center through the front or rear.
