NOTICE: CHURCH ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION & BYLAWS

We are pleased to share with you the first proposed draft of our church's bylaws and proposed amendments to our established church's Articles of Incorporation.  The documents aim to further our mission and strengthen our community. 

These proposals reflect the values and commitments that guide our shared faith journey.

All official church members are asked to review and comment on the proposed Articles of Incorporation amendments & proposed bylaws by Sunday, January 26, 2025.  Electronic copies of the Articles and Bylaws are on our website under church forms.

Comments may be submitted on our website at gngbc.net (click on the “Church Forms” tab and click on) or complete a hard copy form near each sanctuary entrance. Drop your form into the wicker baskets near each entrance in the sanctuary.

CHURCH SERVICES UPDATE

Effective: Sunday, January 5, 2025

Great news!  The plumbing issues have been resolved at the GNG Family Life Center (3328 Adams Ave.).  As a result, Sunday school classes will resume at the GNG Family Life Center on January 5, 2025. 

For those with physical challenges, a Sunday school class will be available at the main church campus (3445 Fairfields) in the multipurpose room.  

Please demonstrate love by not attending this class if you are not physically challenged. We want to have adequate space for those who are truly physically challenged, temporarily or long-term.

Worship services will continue in the church’s sanctuary (3445 Fairfields) weekly. 

On Sunday morning, the bus service will be available to transport individuals between the two campuses. 

Parking will be available at both locations.

Our journey has been challenging over the past two years, and is still the case. However, the kindness that has been shown to each of us over this period of time, and many other years has made our journey less challenging because of the things each of you have done to show your love, thoughtfulness, kindness, and willingness to help each of us along the way.

I am sure that words can express how we have been made to feel because of the actions of each of you.

Our hearts have been touched in a very beautiful way, and we thank God for each and every one of you for the part in making our journey one of joy and thanksgiving.

As an usher, you will have the opportunity to:

• Welcome members and visitors with warmth and a smile

• Help create an atmosphere of hospitality that will aid in the Worship Experience

• Work with fellow ushers and church leadership, supporting each with cooperation and respect.

• No experience? No problem! We will provide you with the training and support you need to serve with confidence each month on the 1st , 3rd ,and 5th Sunday.

FAMILY LIFE CENTER INFORMATION

SUNDAY SCHOOL PARKING INFORMATION

Parking is available at the Family Life Center for each service. The parking lot is full to capacity around 9:30 a.m. There is handicap parking in the front and on the west side of the Family Life Center. Additional parking is available across the street at our main church campus (corner of Fairfields and North Acadian Thruway). Church buses will transport you to and from the church’s parking lot. If you choose to walk across the street, please be extremely safe. Note: You may enter the Family Life Center through the front or rear.
